About The Island

The Island Awaits...

The Isle of Wight is home to some of the most stunning countryside in the UK, and what better way to relax than to get out into the fresh air and explore what the island has to offer?

Your holiday really starts at the ferry port on the mainland before you arrive. There are a choice of routes, fast catamarans and hovercraft for day trips and vehicle ferries if you bring your car with you.

You can depart from the naval dockyard of Portsmouth and see the warships and historic ships, or from the busy port of Southampton and view the massive container ships and luxury cruise liners, or from the little port of Lymington and get magnificent views of the western Solent and famous Needles rocks and lighthouse.

There are five hundred miles of footpaths winding through the stunning countryside, amazing scenery and secluded sandy beaches ready for you to relax on. Traditional English pubs, modern bars and top class restaurants are waiting for your arrival.

There's plenty of activities to participate in as well including, but not limited to walking, cycling, horse riding, sailing, paragliding, swimming, surfing, fishing and fossil hunting. Why not take a visit to one of the historic castles, superb museums, exciting adventure parks? There are also numerous festivals, carnivals, country fairs, craft villages that are run throughout the year.

A variety of accommodation is on offer from us including hotels and self catering properties suitable for up to 8 people.

We could continue, but you really do have to come and see it for yourself.
